About Dave Diamond
A drummer first, Dave Diamond is a creative multi-instrumentalist, equally at home on guitar, bass and keyboards. When stepping out from behind the kit, Dave can be found singing and playing solo shows with his guitar, cajon and loop station. Some of his collaborations with artists have been featured in film and on TV.
He has toured, recorded or shared the stage with a diverse mix of artists and bands, including Bob Weir, Maceo Parker, the Wailers, Todd Rundgren, Stanley Jordan, Richie Havens, Robert Randolph, Pete Francis (Dispatch), and so many more.
Among the highlights of Dave’s varied discography are two records with keyboardist Jason Crosby (Robert Randolph & the Family Band), which featured acclaimed artists from the Allman Brothers, Oteil Burbridge, Derek Trucks and Marc Quinones; Leo Nocentelli (the Meters); Susan Tedeschi; Shannon McNally; Harvey S.; and Marc Broussard.
